Camlet House is a renovation that breathes new life into a classic post war timber home. Replanning allows for the kitchen to capture views of greenery beyond and has drastically improved the natural ventilation of the plan.

Post War homes have solid hardwood bones and this light touch renovation leverages off of the existing structure. Simple and cleverly placed new openings help to create a more open plan environment.

Insertions of joinery, windows and an updated bathroom bring a new level of character back into the home. A palette of white, timber and brass play as a subtle background to the life of the occupants.

A native landscape attracts wildlife of birds and bees to the site. A rich and varied array of flowers, ground covers and feature trees are enjoyed by sitting around a fire pit.

Camlet House is the first development project produced in house by Hall and Roberts. We will continue to work on our own design led development projects which will be made available to the residential market.

Keep an eye out for updates on these opportunities.
